Service Description

Slow intentional movement can support, reset and help to develop a deeper connection to your nervous system as it relates and communicates to your structure and viscera. I focus on one area of the body: rib cage, hips, shoulder, neck, arms, legs, etc. and lead you through deeper somatic awareness, building a new way of relating and caring for your body. I often follow several myo-fascial chains through joint systems, in order to be with the whole body and its parts. There is time for reflection, inquiry, and listening--inviting "the dream" into the work. Whatever images, thoughts, memories, or to-dos might come in, are part of the experience. Rather than "clear the mind" we work with the body and listen to the mind in a new way. This can have a profound effect, there can be an emotional release during or after. Slow intentional movement is not new. Feldencrais, among many, many other pioneers in the body-mind-spirit connection fields inform this practice and my training.
